This is the letter i sent to The Coachmakers Arms after they kindly raised £1000 for me with a casino night.

Thank You from Jack Daly!

You, the customers of the Coachmakers Arms are so very kind and generous.

My dad told me that the pub he does karaoke’s in every other Saturday, was doing a casino night and all the proceeds that they make were going to me for being a brave boy. On the Sunday after the casino night my dad came home and gave me £1000 in cash and told me that is what the Coachmakers had raised and that I could spend it on anything I wanted. WOW!

I want to say a special thank you to Mary the landlady of the pub for not only doing this for me, but all the hours of organising and campaigning to get me this gift. You are a star and your kindness has made me a very happy boy.

There is a list of people I would like to say thank you to for their donations and they are as follows…..

Vince of Crew Catering and the 2 chefs of which names I didn’t get, for all the food you cooked as a donation along with all the hard work in setting it all up and laying it all out.

London Irish for the 2 tickets that were auctioned off.

Enterprise Inns for the cheque of £100 as a donation.

Marks & Spencer Slough High Street for all the donations you made.

Queensmere Observatory for the Lego land tickets.

Jack Rawlinson of A4 Sterling for the use of his Casino tables and equipment without the hire charge.

Slough Cinema for the tickets you donated.

Also to all the shops in Slough High Street that helped by donating stuff for raffles and auctions.

Most of all I want to say thank you to all the kind customers that came along and gave so generously. I hope that one day in the future I can come to your pub after my Chemo has finished and thank you all personally.

I started my first course of Chemotherapy 2 weeks ago and it has made me feel pretty poorly but that is one course out of the way and only another 7 courses to go over the next 46 weeks.

I’m currently not at School at the moment because the treatment makes my immune system die off and if I catch something it will make me very sick.

My dad took me out on Monday and I bought myself a brand new laptop with some of the money you gave to me.

I have my own website, telling my story of when this first started right up to date and I will be adding a page to it to say thank you to all you guys for what you have done for me. Please go and have a look at it, and when you have finished reading it I would like you to say Hi in the forum part and I will reply to you.
